You may. I'm planning on that. I just like the look and it does help on the heat.

Finishing off the welding on the body and frame. Made a seat pan and sent it off to get covered. Now its time to prep the engine for panit and then get the body ready. Hope to have everything finished before April 28. If so, I'm off to Thunder on the Beach. Anyone else going?

Yona. I left a little room but it will definately be a tight squeeze. I told the guy that is covering the seat about how much room I had and he didnt think it would be a problem. Thanks for the advice though. I will do that on the next seat.

Painted the engine parts tonight. Jeremy Simmons will be the one to paint the bike. He painted all the parts tonight. All I did was prep the parts and tape eveything off.

Everything hung and ready for paint.

Jugs painted and tape pulled off fins.

We will start work on the frame and body Sunday.

Where would be a good place to get them coated. I just don't have the time and money at this point. Need to have the bike on the road by April 28. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

J.D.

I've been working on the body work. Slowly getting there. I live in Albertville, Alabama. We were hit with a EF3 tornado Saturday so things have been on hold while we all dug out from that. I was lucky and didn't have much damage but I've worked some long hours patrolling the affected areas and making sure the luters stayed away.

Here are a few pics of where things are now. Still have some more body work to do. Hope to get it in primer before next weekend.
