Bobby, Just another thought. If you want to keep the caliper to the rear as it is. You could extend the existing support to the front about 4 inches or more past the axle and have it slotted. Then weld a stub, somewhat like one of those cigars ya smoke, to the frame and let the slot slide back and forth on the stub with the axle as you adjust the drive chain. The stub would stop the assembly from rotating when the brake is applied. The whole thing would be hidden, more or less.

YEP YONA !! That's it in a nutshell !!

The slotted trangular plate that the frame tubes attach and the axle goes through should be added to towards the front. Maybe three inches or so.
Add a plate shaped sort of like the profile view of a tall beer glass with the wide end towards the rear, narrow forward, welded to the frame with lug hidden. Just so that the lug isn't too close to the axle and has better leverage.

Also the slot in the caliper support should be as long as the slot in the frame plate so that it can slide the full length of the chain adjusters.

I've done this exact mod on a few bikes over the years. It works very well.

EDIT: Hell, ya can use an old styly HD tool box to cover the plate too if you want.

Last one. I gotta make some room in the garage to get the board tracker rolling. This shouldn't take a whole lot to finish. I'll try and keep you posted
