Just showing off some seat pics...

Alright guys, here's some pics of my seats for you to peruse at your leisure. I'll keep this updated with some of my new favorite/ unique seats that i build.

I've got a little shop out here in Colorado, and there's not much exposure out here, and there's not a very big biker culture here either, so i take every chance i can get to show off my work.

any questions or comments are welcome. I won't post the prices, so there's no point in asking.
These are all seats that i have made for customers in the past, and they are not for sale. Just pretty pics to look at when you're bored at work dreaming of your bike!

Thanks for looking,
SPiKE

Custom Seat for an active duty marine.

This is one my favorite seats that i've done. It for a 300 series tire rigid frame build with a HUGE drop seat. The seat was very large, and allowed me to really really work on the detail.

The top is completely tooled, with black alligator tear-out overlays and black sides.

he's a big guy, and his drop seat kind of squished him a bit, so he wanted to be raised up a few inches to get out of the pocket a little.
So it's all foamed up with high density memory foam, and there's a layer of gel-impregnated foam on top for a little bit of initial 'squish' when you plop down.

Hope you enjoy!
Later,
SPiKE

i know i've got some more pics of this seat... i'll dig them up and post them too.

Maltesse Cross Softail Seat

Here's a softail seat that i made for a customer several months ago. He ordered a bobber seat, pillion pad, and a softail seat that all matched. I believe this is off of an '01 softail.
It's got a tooled centerpanel, and alligator side panels, and then a plain black back panel.

I liked this seat because of how i made the lines and panels. It came out very clean. and i love the alligator and tooling panels.

Enjoy,
SPiKE

"DRONES" Softail seat

This is a seat i made for a customer last month.
He had changed his softail's rear fender out for a custom one, and his stock style seat did not fit anymore.
He needed a new seat that would fit correctly, and it had to be stretched about 3" I had him take pictures of the seat area in every which direction with a tape measure in the picture so that i could get the exact measurements needed to stretch his seatpan the correct distance and make it follow the fender correctly. The foam also had to be redone, as he would not be able to reach his controls if he were set the 3" back in the seat.

he told me that he wanted crossed pistons and maybe some fire coming off the top of them, and he wanted it to say DRONES on the seat. all in black.

This is what i came up with. His custom 'reach' seat. when he got it it fit like a glove. All his buddies swore that i had the bike here to make it fit... but i made it work from across the country without ever laying a hand on the bike.

Enjoy,
SPiKE

Wink ElGato's Custom Tooled Seat

Here's a seat i made for a customer who had a "drop in" style seat that sat inside of the bodywork of his frame. hence... it's small.

It's all black on black for a nice subtle look that isn't too flashy. this keeps the seat from detracting from the rest of the bike. so from a distance it's a nice clean black seat... and as you get closer you see more and more detail in the tooling and design.

Enjoy,
SPiKE

and here's a couple of pictures of the tooling before i started dying it, so that you can see the detail and quality of work.
