In a thread about Rooke's front end design, Big Al posted a link to a tech article by Cannondale, containing a nice diagram of how a Spindle front end is put together. Note that the design is property of Cannondale, and that the only reason we've added it here is to make sure it doesn't get relocated on their site, making it impossible to find.
